Frequently Asked Questions
Escape rooms are fun, exciting and challenging activities for friends and family. The aim of the game is to solve the clues and puzzles within the room and escape the room within 60 minutes.
Anyone can participate in an escape room, it’s a great activity for family, friends and work colleagues; escape rooms are also a great team building activity.
All bookings will be exclusive to your group. We will never match you up with other people.
Clacton:
Parking is available nearby to the escape room. We recommend parking on Crossfield Road opposite the escape for free (2 hour limit) parking.
Walton:
We recommend parking in the Mill Lane Car Park, on the road opposite the escape room.
Harwich:
There are many streets around the escape room with no parking restrictions. There is also Milton Road Car Park nearby.
Clacton:
You can find the location HERE. The address is 175 Old Road, Clacton-On-Sea, CO15 3AU
It is just a short 5 minute walk from Clacton-on-Sea train station.
Walton:

It is just a short 5 minute walk from Walton-on-the-Naze train station.
Harwich:

It is just a short 2 minute walk from Dovercourt train station.
No you don’t need to bring anything. However, if you need to wear glasses for reading then we do recommend that you bring your reading glasses as it will make it easier for solving puzzles and entering codes.
Prices vary depending on group size. A group of 2 to 4 players is £18 per person and a group of 5+ players is £16.
Wear comfortable clothes, you may find yourself kneeling or crawling in order to find a clue.
Due to the layout and position of the rooms it can make it difficult to access and play in certain rooms, so we recommend contacting us before booking and we will try our best to accommodate for you and your team.
In most of our rooms (except “The Damned”) you are not required to do any physically demanding activities and there are no fear factors in the rooms. However, if you do have any questions please feel free to contact us.
COVID Related Questions
At present we have extended time slots where necessary to allow extra time for cleaning, counters and high touch point items between games(locks, props, handles etc).
We will manage groups to ensure that they do not mix with other groups on site. This could entail asking your group to wait before entering the building or to hold off leaving the room at the end of your experience until the other group has left.
We will not have all of our games running at the same time to ensure we can maintain these standards.
Don’t worry you will not need to take any action. At no charge to yourself your booking will be automatically converted to a gift voucher that can be used at any time over the next 12 months and will be for the full value of your game.
Contact us via phone or email as soon as possible. Anyone with ANY known symptoms, currently a persistent cough, high temperature or a loss of taste/smell. To ensure we stay as safe as possible anyone displaying any of the symptoms will not be permitted to play.
